Dublin, Ireland

I brought in the New Year on a plane to Dublin, Ireland. On the first day in the beautiful city I got to experience a traditional Irish breakfast at a local cafe down the street from our hotel. The rest of the day we walked around the city and toured Dublin Castle, The Guinness Factory, Trinity College, and Christ Church Cathedral. From the Castle to the Church, everything was associated with important moments in Irish and English history. The stone work of the buildings and the historic structures allowed you to feel as if you were a part of the historic events that took places many years before. I highly recommend Ireland for any one searching for a new vacation destination.

London, England

The 21st-century city has amazing historical features such as 'Big Ben', Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, the Tower of London, and many more. You get to walk across the London Bridge which towers over the Thames River. London has something for everyone, whether you enjoy exquisite cuisine, night life, nature, historical landmarks, or art. London is a city of diversity, and by walking the streets you get a feel for all nationalities through the food.

"“Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford.”

                                            - Samuel Johnson

Why I love london

Like most historians, I love London's history dating back to the Roman times. London is a place for all ages, and allows families to explore the many wonders that London has to offer. The art galleries and museums are some of the greatest in the word, along with the pubs, clubs, and landmarks. When stepping into to London you are entering a piece of European history. I highly recommend this city to anyone who likes a good pint along with their fish & chips.
