For many adults , a mother is someone they love very much but can live without. If you're anything like myself, you'll be able to relate to the close bond a mother and daughter can share. Although you may be years apart, there is nothing that the two of you can't talk about.
1. You look forward to telling her about your weekend.
You forget that she also worries a lot, and after all she is your mother.
2. You call her when you're bored or lonely and if she doesn't pick up, you assume she died or was taken.
Since you are the one joy of her life, you'd think the least she could do is pick up the phone....or not.
3. You assume that when you come home from school your room will be spotless.
After all she only has 100,00,000 things to do today, but you don't think having her make your bed is too much to ask.
4. You're hurt when you clear your schedule to hangout and suddenly she has friends.
When her "b****es" text she must go.
5. When you have the flu and you are flabbergasted she is going to work.
You're on your death bed and you demand her to stay home ,make you soup, and rub your tummy.
6. When you have to go to an appointment and you demand she comes with.
You whine and complain until she finally caves and takes your dramatic a$$.
7. When you fight and slam the doors in each others face.
In all honesty, you're both acting like children and neither one wants to apologize.
8. Your favorite place to shop is Mummy's closet.
You are butt hurt to find out she's wearing the scarf you planned to wear that day.
9. You're insulted when her profile picture isn't of you.
Oh, I see who the favorite child is.
10. Every time you go out, there is bound to be a lecture on boys or drinking.
I got it. Boys are gross, don't do stupid stuff.....blah blah
11. You get hurt when she doesn't make you dinner.
How am I going to survive without any dinner?
12. Last but not least, you love each other unconditionally.
She is your best friend and will always be there.
I love you Mum,
XOXO
